I have a question for you: Does bigger always mean better? How about another question? Does paying more money for it make it better than something that costs less? Back in my parents day those two questions would have been a resounding yes! But not today! In today's open and very competitive marketplace, "bigger, better and more expensive" has been replaced with "smaller, economical and more valuable!"
Case in point. We all know that the Mercedes Benz is one of the most beautiful and expensive cars in the world. But, what have all the other automakers that want to make luxury cars done? They've taken aim at Mercedes by trying to make their own luxury cars as good as Mercedes, but not as expensive. There have been some impressive competitors also. In my eyes the only automaker that has come close is Lexus.
But I am not the only one to notice this. The other automakers out there have also noticed, so what have they done? They have taken aim at Lexus! If you can't take out number 1, why not take out number 2? There have been some impressive entries in this fight also. Namely the new Buick Lacrosse and the Hyundai Genesis! Hyundai and Buick! How dare they? What does all of this have to do with a porn blocker?
The point that I am trying to make is that in today's ultra competitive market, you don't have to pay a lot of money for quality. All of these companies are trying their best to get you to look in their direction with things that they know you want. The big companies that have products at the top of the list in their field are constantly being challenged by the little guy who feels that he can do it better, and cheaper for you, the consumer! Because he knows that THAT is what we want!
With the power, availability and interaction of the Internet, companies are making themselves more responsive to what you, the customer wants. And if you want a great porn blocker but don't want to pay for the great porn blocker price, then that's what you will get! The point is...you control the price! Gone are the days when you "...get what you pay for!" Now it's, " That was how much?!"
In these tough economical times, people are looking for more bang for their hard earned bucks! And if the company is not conforming to what the customer wants, then that customer will go to a company that will! You don't have to pay big money to get quality anymore! Period! Point Blank! All you have to do is be a smart shopper and know what you want! And if a low cost porn blocker that does everything that a high cost porn blocker does is what you want... then dammit, that's what you'll get! Until next time!
